State Clinic Hallein

The Landesklinik Hallein is a hospital in the Austrian city of Hallein . It is located at Bürgermeisterstraße 34 in the Burgfried district and is the teaching hospital of the Paracelsus Medical Private University .

history

The civil hospital for poor servants and journeymen of the kk saltworks town Hallein was opened on May 1, 1839. In 1893 the facility was expanded to include the Hallein 152 building. From 1907 the facility was a public hospital.

In 1954 the house had around 130 beds. On April 13, 1973, the new building at Bürgermeisterstraße 34 was occupied.

The Landesklinik Hallein has been owned by the Salzburger Landeskliniken (SALK) since 2017 .
