Krassi saar is an Estonian Baltic Sea island in the Gulf of Finland .

Krassi saar rises on the three square kilometer glint plateau Krässgrund. The size of the island is approximately four hectares, depending on the water level and wind. It is uninhabited. There is no permanent flora. There is a nine-meter-high beacon on the island .

Numerous sea birds nest on Krassi saar . It is a resting place for dog seals .

The shortest connection to the mainland is 6.7 km. The island of Suur-Pakri is five kilometers to the east. The port of Kurkse is 16.7 km away.

New ground crater

The Neugrund crater lies on the floor of the Baltic Sea between the islands of Osmussaar and Krassi saar . It is the oldest and largest impact crater in Estonia.
