The Flesh Eaters are an American punk band.

The Flesh Eaters were founded in 1977 in Los Angeles by Chris Desjardins, known as Chris D. , who is the only permanent member of the band. Over the years, the frequently changing line-up included Tito Larriva ( The Plugz ), Stan Ridgway ( Wall of Voodoo ), John Doe and DJ Bonebrake ( X ), Dave Alvin and Bill Bateman ( The Blasters ) and Steve Berlin (The Blasters, Los Lobos ).
In 1983 Desjardins dissolved the Flesh Eaters to pursue other projects. Two "Greatest Hits" and a live album were released before a new album by the Flesh Eaters was produced in 1991. The band's last album to date was released in 2004.
