Steve Berlin

Steve Berlin (* 14. September 1955 in Philadelphia ) is an American rock - saxophonist , keyboardist and music producer . He is best known as a member of the rock group Los Lobos . Before that he was a member of the bands Top Jimmy & the Rhythm Pigs , The Blasters and The Flesh Eaters .

Life

Berlin's music career began in the early 1980s when he joined the Blasters. He only stayed with the band for a short time and then - also only for a short time - to join the Flesh Eaters. In 1982 he made a guest appearance on a Go-Go's album .

Together with T-Bone Burnett , Berlin produced the EP … And a Time to Dance by Los Lobos in 1983 , of which he became a permanent member the following year.
