Kravica waterfalls

The Kravica waterfalls [ ˈkravit͡sa ] are located near the village of Studenci in Bosnia and Herzegovina . They are among the most popular attractions of the municipality of Ljubuški and are under conservation .

The waterfalls, the height of which varies between 26 and 28 meters, patter down a 120 m wide slope. Because a lot of fertile mud remains around the waterfall, numerous plant species that make up the regional vegetation were able to thrive particularly well. In the past, the Kravice were used by millers to drive their water mills , whereas nowadays it is mainly bathers who take a refreshing dip at the waterfalls.

The A1 motorway with the Kravice service area has been running not far from the waterfalls since 2014 .
