The district teaching garden Floß is a demonstration and school garden of the district association for horticulture and state maintenance Neustadt an der Waldnaab in Floß . It covers an area of approximately 5000 m². The garden was laid out at the beginning of the 21st century - financed from EU funds and funds for the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park - and has been designed as a "garden of the senses" since 2010. The entrance to the garden is located directly on the Bocklradweg near a wooden pavilion, which also serves as a resting and shelter for cyclists. Another entrance with parking spaces is on State Road 2181 on the southern outskirts of Floß. The garden is open all year round during the day. Admission is free.

There is a robber path in the garden for the children. There is also an adventure trail, a Stone Age clay oven, information on green roofs, ecological horticulture and various plant communities. The local clubs and communities use the garden for events and celebrations.
