Kreshnik Spahiu

Kreshnik Spahiu (born April 21, 1969 in Tirana ) is an Albanian lawyer and politician. Between 2007 and 2012 he was Chief Executive of the Deputy President of the Supreme Court of Albania ( Albanian  Këshilli i Lartë i Drejtësisë ). On February 10, 2012, he resigned from his post as number two in the Supreme Court of Albania.

Spahiu is the founder and chairman of the nationalist party Allianz Rot und Schwarz (AK).

Spahiu is one of the nationalist politicians in Albania. In a speech on December 15, 2012 in Kuçova , he stated that his party should overthrow the government of Sali Berisha ( PD ) before the elections in summer 2013 . He described Berisha himself as a “communist figure” who belongs to a “past history”. The AK wants to establish a new political regime that will be led by a “new blood” and not by today's politicians and “tax collectors”.

In the run-up to the Albanian parliamentary elections in summer 2017 , Kreshnik Spahiu announced his retirement from politics in May and finally resigned from the chairmanship of Alenca Kuq e Zi. He criticized the opposition leader Lulzim Basha (PD) and made him responsible for his resignation.
