Kreuzberg Chapel

The Kreuzbergkapelle is a listed church building in Altastenberg , a district of Winterberg in the Hochsauerlandkreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The rectangular quarry stone building with a three-sixth end was built in 1867. The longitudinal walls are each divided by a pointed arch window. There is a skylight above the entrance door with segmental arches and small, high-lying pointed arch niches on both sides. The entrance wall was grouted up to the main cornice. The slate roof is hipped over the choir , near the gable is a six-sided slate roof turret .

After the Second World War, a war memorial with a memorial stone and three high crosses was created on the forecourt .
