Kreuzkapelle (Dietershofen)

The Roman Catholic Kreuzkapelle is located in Dietershofen near Babenhausen in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The chapel , built between 1957 and 1959, was formerly a listed building. It consists of a small round building with a high tent roof . Stations of the Cross from 1906 are located around the chapel .

history

In the place of the current chapel there was a chapel built by Pastor Joseph Zell in 1724. In addition to the chapel, there was also a hermitage here . This was mentioned in 1773 and named by Placidus Braun in 1823 . Demolition was planned as early as 1795, which was finally carried out in 1807.
