The war memorial in Dourdan , a French city ​​in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1925 according to plans by the architect Vernholes. The war memorial in the Rue de Chartres is reminiscent of the military personnel of Dourdan, in the First and Second World War were killed.

In the middle of the elaborate monument of limestone are two high columns that are topped by a pediment. A relief of the city's coat of arms can be seen in the gable. The names of the fallen are shown in niches below and on the right and left. The name boards are designed as mosaics . They come from Antoine Ebel's workshop in Paris.

The war memorial, inaugurated on November 11, 1925, is embedded in a small green area, which is bordered by an iron grating.
