Behnsdorf war memorial
The war memorial Behnsdorf is a war memorial in the village of Behnsdorf in the municipality of Flechtingen in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located in a small green area north of Flechtinger Straße, west of the confluent Belsdorfer Straße.
The monument consists of a stone stele topped by a cross.
On the east-facing side of the stele is the inscription:
Noble heroes of the homeland,
protectors of the domestic flock.
We will never forget you.
Sleep well on hostile earth.
The east side is labeled as follows:
Youth bare your head
And think of the deeds of the fathers
A particular war that is thought of is not indicated.
