Breitenfeld war memorial

The Breitenfeld war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Breitenfeld in the town of Gardelegen in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the center of Breitenfeld on Dorfstrasse , west of the Breitenfeld village church .

The memorial commemorates the fallen from Breitenfeld in the First and Second World Wars .

It consists of a sandstone block on which the fallen soldiers of the First World War are remembered with inscriptions. A granite tablet for those who died in World War II was later placed at the foot of the monument.
