The Krosigk war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Krosigk in the municipality of Petersberg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located east of the parish pond at the eastern end of the street Am Ziemer .

Design and history

The war memorial was erected for the fallen soldiers of the village of Drehlitz in the First World War and is provided with inscriptions. On its side facing east is the inscription:

1914-1918 The Krosigk congregation honors
our dead


Nobody has greater
love than
he that he should give up his life
for his brothers

On the west-facing side, an inscription plaque was later placed with the names of those who died in World War II :
