The Kuckenburg war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Kuckenburg district of the municipality of Obhausen in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the war memorial is recorded as a monument under registration number 094 65526 .

The Kuckenburg war memorial is located on the main street of Kuckenburg and was erected in 1923. It commemorates the seven soldiers of the village who lost their lives in the First World War . The war memorial is a stele that is crowned by an iron cross , at times it was also a dove of peace . On three out of four pages are the names, ranks. Units and dates of death of the fallen. The inscription facing the street reads Your heroes, who died in the 1914-1918 World War, the grateful Kuckenburg community . After the Second World War , a plaque was put up on the street side for the seven fallen soldiers of the town in the Second World War.
