Lotzdorf war memorial

The war memorial in the Radeberg district of Lotzdorf commemorates the local victims of the First World War . The memorial, erected after 1918, is located on a wall of the former property at Lotzdorfer Straße 29 and is a listed building.

The memorial attached to a wall was made of sandstone . At the upper edge of the memorial is the gold-plated symbol of the all-seeing eye . The following inscription can be read below:

Remember those who gave their lives to / protect their homeland rights and honor.

The memorial is flanked on each side by a relief of a soldier. The soldiers are leaning on a sword and shown with one hand raised. Five sandstone slabs with the names of the missing and fallen residents of Lotzdorf are attached between the figures. The inscription on the base of the monument reads:
