War Food Office (Switzerland)

The [Federal] War Food Office (KEA, French Office [fédérale] de guerre pour l'alimentation , OGA, Italian Ufficio [federale] di guerra per i viveri , UGV) was a Swiss authority during the Second World War .

The authority was founded in 1939. It was responsible for supplying the population with food as part of the national economic supply . In addition to the “cultivation battle” ( Plan Wahlen ), this also included the regulation of rationing and the issuing of food stamps .
