Kriemhild Maria Siegel (* the 30th November 1972 in Mühldorf as Kriemhild Maria Jahn ) is a German soprano .

Kriemhild Siegel became known as a child through various events and church concerts, and at the age of 14 she had her first radio recordings.

After graduating from the High School of the English Lady in Altötting she studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg song , oratorio , opera , musicals and operettas . Shortly afterwards she received the “ Robert Stolz Prize ” for the best young classical singer.

From 2006 she was married to the composer Ralph Siegel . On August 4, 2014, the couple announced their separation through a lawyer in Hamburg, and the judicial divorce took place in 2016.

Works

Her repertoire includes German, English, French, Italian and Spanish works of classical and contemporary music.

In 2000 her first album, "Rendez-vous of feelings", was released, which the artist produced herself.

In the summer of 2006, “Mozart Premiere” was released, on which the most famous instrumental works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart were rearranged and provided with texts in different languages.

In 2007 the television film and DVD "One Night in Venice" was released in collaboration with the MDR television ballet. The complete CD “Mozart Premiere” was filmed in Venice with elaborate image design.

In 2009 the album "Eternity" was released.
