The nativity scene museum in the Oberstadion in the Alb-Donau district shows one of the largest nativity scenes in Germany with 160 nativity scenes on over 600 square meters . The museum is housed in the parish barn, which was built in 1612 and is now a listed building, and was opened on December 21, 2008.

Cribs by artists from Germany, Italy and Austria are presented on two floors. A work of art, one of the heaviest nativity scenes at 2.5 tons, can also be seen in the museum. An annual crib by the brothers Tobias and Herbert Haseidl from Oberammergau is unique in Germany with its scenes. A special exhibition deals with each country's nativity scene, e.g. B. Poland (2008), Peru (2009) or the Czech Republic (2013).

In the lecture hall of the museum, visitors can see the background of the nativity scene in the Oberstadion and in Luttach in the Ahrntal Valley in Italy .

The project Krippenmuseum Oberstadion was funded by the LEADER action group Oberschwaben with funds from the European Union and the state of Baden-Württemberg.
