Krischan Koch

Krischan Koch (* 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German writer and journalist. He lives in Hamburg and on Amrum .

Koch writes crime novels with a regional reference. His thrillers are mostly set in Schleswig-Holstein , especially in the fictional town of Fredenbüll. His most famous novels with the Fredenbüller village police officer Thies Detlefsen and his colleague, Detective Inspector Nicole Stappenbek, are also set in Amrum and in Hamburg. Before that, he wrote, among other things, the books Escape over the Watt and Venice, see and steal .

As a main occupation, Koch does cabaret and short films and writes film reviews.
