Kristóf Deák

Kristóf Deák (born June 7, 1982 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian filmmaker who works as a film producer , film editor , screenwriter and film director .

Career

Deák was born in Budapest and started working in the television business on the Hungarian television series Született lúzer in 2008 when he was responsible for editing two episodes. In 2010 he released his self-written and filmed short film Golf with a Shotgun . In addition to other short films in which he pursued various activities, in 2015 he was responsible for the award-winning short film Beverley as editor. For his work Mindenki Deák received an Oscar in the category “Best Short Film” at the 2017 Academy Awards .
