Kristian Fæste (born March 24, 1990 ) is a Danish football player in the service of the second division club Vejle BK . He plays in the position of goalkeeper.

Career

Kristian Fæste started playing football at Bredballe IF . From there he later moved to the youth department of Vejle BK .

In 2008 he joined their second team. Only a year he got into their first team. His debut for the first team was Fæste on March 20, 2010, when he was on the 19th match day of the Viasat Sport Division season, in the game against FC Fredericia , in the starting line-up. From then on he became a regular goalkeeper.

He also held this post the following season.

National team

Kristian Fæste made his first game for Denmark's U-17s against Finland on August 3, 2006. He made his second and last game two days later on August 5, 2006 in a 4-0 win against England.

It took almost three years before Fæeste came up for a Danish selection again. On March 5, 2009 Fæste played for the first time for the Danish U-19 selection. In the 1-0 win against his peers from Serbia, he was in the starting eleven.

His last appearance for the U-19 completed Fæste on April 8, 2009, when they lost 2-0 to Portugal.

On January 23, 2011 Fæste played in an unofficial U-21 international match against the Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk . In that game, Fæste came on for Jonas Lössl at the beginning of the second half . The Danish U21 lost 3-2 against the club from Donbas.
