Kristian Cato Walby Kjelling (born September 6, 1980 in Oslo ) is a former Norwegian handball player who played for the Danish club AaB Håndbold until 2013 . For the 2013/14 season he moved to Bjerringbro-Silkeborg . In summer 2015 he returned to the Norwegian first division club Drammen HK . In February 2016 he also took over the Drammen coaching position. He ended his active career in December 2016.
The backcourt player completed his first international match for the Norwegian national team on May 29, 2001 against Sweden. Since then, Kjelling has appeared 159 times for Norway, scoring 615 goals.
Kjelling is an athlete ambassador for the development aid organization Right to Play .
