Kristian Nyquist
Kristian Nyquist (* 1964 in Los Angeles ) is an American harpsichordist and pianist (fortepiano).
Nyquist studied with Christine Daxelhofer at the Karlsruhe University of Music . He completed his training with Huguette Dreyfus in Paris. He also attended courses with Colin Tilney , Bob van Asperen and Gustav Leonhardt . Nyquist is a lecturer at the Mannheim and Karlsruhe Universities of Music. He recorded CDs for the labels Pavane, Telos, Koch-Schwann and Etoile Productions. As a specialist in fortepiano, he works in the Endymion Trio .
