Kristin Platt

Kristin Platt (* 1965 ) is a German social psychologist .

Life

Kristin Platt works at the Institute for Diaspora and Genocide Research at the Ruhr University in Bochum . Her research interests include the structures of political violence, genocide and trauma research , in her writings she deals with trauma successions, the appraisal of statements made by genocide survivors in court, consensus building in political collectives or on Jewish identity in the diaspora.

Platt is the editor in charge of the journal for genocide research , which she publishes together with the head of the Institute for Diaspora and Genocide Research Mihran Dabag .
