Kristin Rosendal

Kristin Guri Rosendal (born October 10, 1962 in Lillestrøm ) is a Norwegian political scientist and professor at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute . It deals with the formation and implications of international environmental and nature regimes and examines their interactions. Her main focus is on processes of access and benefit sharing , agriculture and aquaculture and bioprospection in marine protected areas .

Life

Kristin Rosendal studied Politics, Sociology and Public Law ( cand. Mag. ) From 1982 to 1985 and Politics (Cand. Polit., Comparable to Master's) at the University of Oslo from 1987 to 1989 and received her doctorate there in 1999. She has been a professor since 2007 and is now the scientific director of the Fridtjof Nansen Institute.
