Kristoffer and the Harbor Heads is a Swedish indie pop band from Gothenburg. The band was formed in 2010 and is currently signed to Ferryhouse and Kning Disk .
history
Before the band was founded in 2010, lead singer Kristoffer Ragnstam was active as a singer-songwriter in Sweden . After the release of his solo album Sweet Bills in April 2008, Ragnstam was dubbed in music circles as the Swedish Beck . Emil C. Rinstad and Joel Lundberg already worked together under the name Harbor Heads.
With the collaboration of the American producer Ryan Kelly, who has already worked with artists like Lou Reed , the album Little Goes a Long Way was created in early 2012 and was released in February 2012 on the Ferryhouse Productions label. The style of the album spans indie pop and folk pop and contains elements of the 1960s and 1970s. After a tour as the opening act for Mumford & Sons , the band toured Germany in April 2012 and completed another tour from September to December 2012 with stops in France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
