The Kudemskaja narrow-gauge railway ( Russian Кудемская узкоколейная железная дорога / Kudemskaja uskokolejnaja schelesnaja doroga ) is a forest railway in the Russian Oblast Arkhangelsk , south of Severodvinsk .

history

The first section of the narrow-gauge railway was opened in 1949. Of the former 108 km long forest railway network with a gauge of 750 mm, a remaining distance of 41 km is still available today. A train runs five days a week.
