The kudhi wayang is a ceremonial sword from Sumatra .

description

The Kudhi-Wayang has a figuratively shaped blade. The wayang figures from Indonesia serve as a model . The surface is covered with engravings and has a gold inlay near the figure's eye. The booklet is made of metal. The Kudhi-Wayang is used as a ceremonial object at certain times, usually on Friday evenings , and like the Wayang figures, it is kept in a vase or a banana plant stem. It is hidden away so that outsiders cannot see it. It is passed down as a sacred heirloom in the family. The Kudhi wayang is used by ethnic groups in Sumatra.
