Kuladig , original spelling KuLaDig, abbreviated for “culture. Landscape. Digital “is an information database for cultural and landscape objects. This specialist information system is not only freely accessible, it can also be shaped by the public. KuLaDig is operated by the Rhineland Regional Council (LVR), the State Office for Monument Preservation Hesse (LfDH) and the Rhenish Association for Monument Preservation and Landscape Protection eV (RVDL).

KuLaDig is intended to give the public free access to property information that can otherwise only be found in archives or that would have to be requested from individual authorities. Information from various disciplines is brought together in the database. Localizations and descriptions of objects, structures and phenomena are recorded, supplemented by media offers such as texts, maps, current and historical photos, videos and sound documents. KuLaDig was developed and operated by the systems house of the Rhineland Regional Association (LVR-InfoKom). The basis is the Microsoft ASP.NET MVC web framework , the data is stored in a Microsoft SQL Server database. The free CSS framework Bootstrap from Twitter is used for cross- device display (PC, tablets, smartphones) . For this purpose, the map services are integrated by the ESRI ArcGIS server. The media in the image database are dynamically integrated into the application in the form of a media gallery and a thesaurus for the purposes of research and recording.
