Kulajda is a soup of Czech cuisine that is common in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest and the Giant Mountains .

description

The thick soup consists of potatoes , sour or sweet cream , wild mushrooms and poached eggs . It is seasoned with dill .

To prepare it, potatoes are boiled with onions , caraway seeds and bay leaves, then the mushrooms are added. The soup is bound with sour cream and flour . Finally, the eggs are poached directly in the soup and the soup is garnished with dill .
