Kult-Ur-Institut for interdisciplinary cultural research

The Kult-Ur-Institut for interdisciplinary cultural research is an association for interdisciplinary research into cultural history . It was originally founded by the Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences , but is now supported by the KULT-UR-INSTITUT für interdisciplinary research eV . The sponsoring association was founded with headquarters in Lollschied , and is now based in Bettendorf in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The Kult-Ur-Institut has existed since 1988. Harald Braem is the managing director . Thor Heyerdahl was one of the members . One of the projects is the ethno-archaeological museum in Bettendorf.

In addition to monographs, the institute publishes the journal KULT-UR-Notizen ( ISSN  0947-0646 ) and the study series Imago mundi and bibliographies from the KULT-UR-Institut e. V. out.
