Kostadin Stojanow ( Bulgarian Костадин Стоянов ; born May 2, 1986 in Nova Sagora ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

Stoyanov began his professional career in 2004 with FC Chernomorets Burgas   which emerged after the dissolution of FC Chernomorets. After a year he then moved to Zagorets Nova Zagora, without any commitment Stojanow left the club and in 2007 joined the OFK Sliven 2000 , in whose youth team he was already active, and rose straight away with the team in the highest Bulgarian league. 

In the 2008/09 season he made his debut in the A Grupa. In the game against Lokomotive Plovdiv on August 9, 2008 in which Stoyanov played through. The game was won 1-0. He came to another 24 missions during the season and thus contributed to the OFK holding the league in twelfth place.

At the beginning of the 2009/10 season he moved to CSKA Sofia , where he was runner-up, and also made his debut at European club level. In early 2012 he was banned from the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for three months for doping with methylhexanamine .

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season Stojanow moved to Bulgarian cup winner  PFK Beroe Stara Sagora . At the beginning of 2014 he terminated his contract and has been without engagement since then.

National team

Stojanow has played seven games for Bulgaria so far. He made his debut on November 19, 2008 as part of the qualification for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa against Cyprus . Stoyanov played through in the 4-1 defeat in Larnaka .
