Kuno Petsch

Kuno Petsch (born September 13, 1923 in Tabarz , † 1967 in East Berlin ) was a German composer .

Life

After graduating from high school, he worked as a teacher and school director, at the same time as the leader of choirs, instrumental groups and a chamber orchestra . 1956–1958 Petsch was the managing editor of the magazine “Musik in der Schule” in the GDR and from 1958 worked as a freelance composer in East Berlin . He died in 1967 at the age of 44.
