Art Prize of the State of Saxony-Anhalt
The Art Prize of the State of Saxony-Anhalt is awarded every two years. The prize, endowed with 7,500 euros, is the highest award in this area from the state of Saxony-Anhalt .
The prize has been awarded regularly since 1992 and is aimed at artists from the fields of fine and applied arts . You must have a special connection with the state of Saxony-Anhalt through your birth, place of residence, studio or artistic work. The award is given to artists who can prove a recognized life's work or who can expect a further development to high artistic achievements through their previous work and thus make an important contribution to the development of modern art in Saxony-Anhalt.
