The Landstieg art collection in Oberwangen TG contains works made of glass and ceramics, especially from the studio glass movement .

This Swiss private collection was built up from around 1985 over the course of twenty years. The artists represented are internationally known and works by them can also be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London or in New York in the Metropolitan Museum of Art , the Museum of Modern Art and the Corning Museum of Glass .

Works

The studio glass movement is represented by the «founding fathers» Erwin Eisch and Harvey Littleton , then by the most famous names of this movement such as Dale Chihuly , Dan Daily , Willem Heesen , Helmut W. Hundstorfer , Bertil Vallien , Ann Wolff and Toots Zynsky .

In the field of ceramics, mainly works by Swiss artists Philippe Lambercy , Edouard Chapallaz , Elisabeth Langsch and Petra Weiss were included, as well as some works by internationally known artists such as Carmen Dionyse , Yasuo Hayashi and Carlo Zauli .
