More than three years later, he started again at the Four Hills Tournament 1979/80 , which also made his debut in the newly created ski jumping World Cup . However, he could not prevail again and again only landed beyond 80th place in all competitions. In the end, he finished 89th in the tour's overall ranking.

Two more years later, at the Four Hills Tournament 1982/83 , he was able to improve significantly and landed in Oberstdorf on rank 47. He also landed on this place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In Innsbruck and Bischofshofen , however, he again remained beyond the top 50. In the end, he was 50th overall in this edition of the Four Hills Tournament . A year later at the Four Hills Tournament 1983/84 , 47th place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was his best placement.

At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , which were also classified as the Nordic World Ski Championships , Boschkow started in the individual jumping from the normal hill and ended up in 37th place. He did not start from the large hill. At the Four Hills Tournament 1984/85 he again did not achieve good placements. Only in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was he again in a good position in the top 50 with 38th place.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol , Boschkow landed 54th in the jumping from the large hill K109, which was held in Innsbruck . Bulgaria did not provide a team for the team competition. From the normal hill K90 in Seefeld he finished 44th with jumps on 76.5 and 79 meters.

At his last Four Hills Tournament in 1986/87 Boschkow could not convince in any jumping. In the end, he reached 71st place overall. He finally ended his career when he started at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 1987 , where he jumped 61st from the normal hill. From the large hill he finished 36th after jumps on 98.5 and 102.5. For the first time a Bulgarian team competed in the team competition, but only achieved 17th place out of 17 starting nations.
