  • Baghdad and Kufa 10th century: 1 Kurr (large / full) = 60 Qafīz = 4800 Makkūk = 14000 Kailağa = 8640000 Dirham = 2700 kilograms (wheat weight )
  • Wasit and Basra : 1 Kurr = 120 Qafīz = 480 Makkūk = 7200 Raṭl = 921600 Dirham = 2880 kilograms
  • 1 Kurr (standardized / balanced) = 1 Kurr al-mu addal = 60 Qafīz = 1500 Raṭl (Bagdaer) = 609.375 kilograms of wheat
  • 1 Kurr (large) = 60 Qafīz = 480 Makkūk = 1440 Kailağa

    • Barley , chickpeas , lentils : 1 Kurr = 2437.5 kilograms
    • Rice : 1 Kurr = 3656.25 kilograms
    • The average of the three above values is assumed to be 2.9 tons or 36 hectoliters for the Bagdaer Kurr.
