Kurt Schwabe Prize

The Kurt Schwabe Prize is a science prize for chemistry that has been awarded by the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig since 1983 . It is reminiscent of the chemist Kurt Schwabe , who also donated the prize. The award ceremony takes place every two to four years and takes place in a public meeting of the Saxon Academy of Sciences.

The prize consists of an honorary certificate and a cash donation.

The European Federation of Corrosion also awards a Kurt Schwabe Prize .
