Kurt Dlouhy

Kurt Dlouhy (born October 23, 1949 in Blindenmarkt ) is an Austrian conductor and university professor.

Life

Kurt Dlouhy learned the piano as a child and originally wanted to be a choirboy. In 1979 he completed his vocal studies and in 1980 his conducting studies.

Later he was production manager at ORF and teaches at the Bruckner University in Linz .

Dlouhy has been the musical director of the autumn days of the Blindenmarkt since the operetta festival began .
