Kurt Emmerich (soccer player)

Kurt Emmerich (born September 27, 1922 ) is a former German soccer player who was active for FC Bayern Munich .

Career

Emmerich was a striker for FC Bayern Munich from 1945 to 1948 . During this period he completed 29 point games in the Oberliga Süd , the top German division at the time, in which he scored eight goals. In his first season, in which he played seven times, he also scored his first two goals. He achieved this on May 19, 1946 in a 4-2 win in the away game against Eintracht Frankfurt with the goal to make it 2-1 and 3-1. In the following season he scored six times in 18 point games. In his last season he was only used from the fourth to the seventh game day; all four encounters (4: 0 against VfB Mühlburg , 1: 0 at Sportfreunde Stuttgart , 3: 1 against VfL Neckarau and 3: 1 at FC Wacker Munich ) were won.
