Kurt Hesse (entrepreneur)

Kurt Hesse (born around 1945) is a German toy manufacturer.

Life

Hesse is the head of the toy manufacturer Autec in Nuremberg. Hesse manufactures toy cars and has been fighting for years against the license fees demanded by the auto industry for replicas of miniature car models. He successfully applied to the European Union Intellectual Property Office for the deletion of the so-called design for variants of the Porsche 911 model . In 2017 he won the right to sell razors under the name Testarossa before the Düsseldorf regional court . In 1985 he became head of the toy company Carrera Century Toys in Fürth. At the age of 26 he founded his first company, the Nuremberg planning office Hesse (PBH) . Hesse's engineering office worked for companies such as Siemens, Bosch and Brose. In 1997, after a tax affair and quarrels with the banks, Hesse retired as managing director and sole shareholder of Carrera. In 1999 he got back into the toy business with his company Autec.
