Kurt Kronenbitter (born September 24, 1919 ) was a German football player . For the Sportfreunde Stuttgart , the Stuttgarter Kickers and Holstein Kiel he played first division football in the Gauliga Württemberg and in the Oberliga Süd .

From 1941 to 1945 Kurt Kronenbitter played at times together with his brothers Siegfried and Franz as a striker for Sportfreunde Stuttgart. During this time, the sports fans were represented in the Gauliga Württemberg, one of the up to 38 highest divisions at that time. In the 1942/43 season, Kurt Kronenbitter was allowed to play at Holstein Kiel and returned to Sportfreunde the following year. When football games resumed in 1946, Kurt Kronenbitter and his brother Siegfried joined the Stuttgarter Kickers, which were one of the founding clubs of the new Oberliga Süd. Of the 38 league games of the 1946/47 season, Kronenbitter played 26 games and scored one goal. Until 1950 he was part of the senior team of the Kickers.

After his time with the Blues, he played with Kurt Herget , Erich Dreher and Otto Böckle for SV Prag Stuttgart .

Personal

In addition to Siegfried and Franz , Kurt also had two other brothers - Leo and Heinrich - they all played together for the Sportfreunde Stuttgart in 1942.

Kurt was an electrical engineer by profession.
