Kurt Mühlbacher

Kurt Mühlbacher (born November 30, 1925 in Vienna ; † May 29, 2011 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) as well as business and tax advisor. Mühlbacher was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1971 and 1986 .

Mühlbacher attended compulsory school and then completed a commercial training, where he attended the commercial vocational school. He then worked professionally as an audit assistant, tax advisor and management consultant and was appointed to the commercial council in 1971 .

Mühlbacher was a member of the SPÖ's federal party executive and represented the SPÖ between November 4, 1971 and December 16, 1986 in the National Council. Between 1984 and 1986 he also worked as a deputy chairman of the Club of Socialist Members of Parliament and Federal Councilors. Mühlbacher was also Vice President of the Federal Chamber of Commerce and from 1973 President of the Free Trade Association of Austria in 1973, from 1974 Deputy Chairman of the Pension Insurance Institution for Business and from 1975 a member of the Presidential Committee of the Main Association of Austrian Social Insurance Institutions.

He was buried at the Asperner Friedhof in Vienna.
