Kurt Sellnick

Kurt Sellnick (born June 13, 1894 in Kassel , † April 13, 1975 in Idstein ) was a German actor, director, writer and dramaturge.

Life

Kurt Sellnick, son of a Kassel factory owner, first studied engineering at the Technical University of Hanover . In 1913 he became a member of the Corps Hannovera Hannover . He broke off his studies and switched to the stage subject. Initially an actor at the State Theater in Kassel, from 1923 he worked as an actor and member of the Wiesbaden City Theater, where he was subsequently also a director and playwright. Most recently he worked as a dramaturge in Hanover.

Kurt Sellnick was married to the actress Friedl Mecklenborg since 1933. The writer Hilke Müller , who publishes under numerous pseudonyms, is her daughter.
