Kurt Weber (musician)
Kurt Weber (* before 1968 in Bern ) is a Swiss clarinetist .
Life
Weber studied clarinet with Jacques Lancelot and Jost Michaels at the Detmold University of Music . In 1968 he won 3rd prize at the ARD International Music Competition . He was a soloist with the Bern Symphony Orchestra and was professor of clarinet at the Bern Conservatory . Reto Staub and Jean-Luc Darbellay are among his students . He was also a co-founder of the Ton 3 ensemble.
