Kurt Weidner (born February 21, 1907 in Oberhof , Thuringia , German Empire , † after 1978) was a German dancer and actor on stage and television.

Life

Weidner trained as a dancer and actor and began his career in 1931 as a ballet dancer in Gotha. He then went to the provinces and to Berlin, where he could be seen on several stages in the capital. Later he was a freelance artist who was no longer tied to a venue. His last engagement in the Third Reich brought him to Wesermünde during the Second World War , before he was drafted in 1943.

The early post-war period brought Kurt Weidner to the Theater von Bremerhaven until 1954, after which he worked for several seasons in Konstanz before he found himself in Berlin in the 1960s and returned to the stage (including the Berlin theater). Weidner also made radio and took on jobs as a voice actor. Kurt Weidner appeared in front of the camera quite late, only when he was over 60 was he regularly given smaller roles in television games. As early as 1975 his track was lost again.
