Kurt Zech

Kurt Zech (* 1957 in Bremen ) is a German entrepreneur. He heads the family business Zech Group GmbH from Bremen. Zech is considered the largest real estate project developer in Germany. His family is one of the richest families in Bremen. It has around 700 million euros.

Kurt Zech trained as a banker. Together with a partner, he took over his father's construction company from his father Kurt Zech senior in 1978. He developed the small business into an international group. In December 2017, the Zech Group and Gustav-Zech-Stiftung employed 9363 people, 7535 of them in Germany. Often the companies in which Zech holds the majority kept their ancestral names.

Kurt Zech is married. He has two daughters and one son.
