Kurzenisarhofen is a district of the municipality of Moos in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf . Kurzenisarhofen is located about 500 meters southwest of Moos near the federal highway 8 .

history

The Breviarius Urolfi, a description of the properties of the Niederaltaich monastery from the late 8th century, notes that the monastery, when it was founded in 741, owned a villa Isarahofa ("Curtis Isarahofa") by the Baier duke Odilo with the associated extensive property of 42 manses (farmsteads) and forest received. Isarhofen, the Hof an der Isar was founded before 741 and was an early medieval fiscal estate. Kurzenisarhofen has always been home to the parish church and the parsonage of the Isarhofen parish, first mentioned in 1224.

The Hofmark Kurzenisarhofen initially belonged to the Aichberg family and later to the Preysing family . Like Langenisarhofen, Hofmark stayed with Moos all the time. With the formation of the tax districts 1808/1811 Kurzenisarhofen came to the tax district Moos I. Section Moos. With the formation of the municipalities in 1818 Kurzenisarhofen was assigned to the municipality of Moos.

Attractions

  • Parish Church of St. Simon and Jude Thaddeus. The parish church of Isarhofen was built from 1624 to 1628 in Renaissance style. The tower was built between 1646 and 1649. The furnishings are largely from the Renaissance.
  • The rectory is a hipped roof building from around 1840.
