Langenisarhofen is a part of the municipality of Moos in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf and a district .

The village of Langenisarhofen is located at the transition from a low terrace to a high terrace on the southwest edge of the Isar valley . The federal road 8 runs through the village and the Passau – Obertraubling railway line runs past it to the south .

The district of Langenisarhofen largely corresponds to the area of ​​the former municipality of Langenisarhofen and covers around 12 square kilometers .

history

A description of the property of Niederaltaich Monastery from the late 8th century, the "Breviarius Urolfi", mentions the place. The local chapel dates from the second half of the 17th century.

The municipality Long Isar Hofen was the Gemeindeedikt formed by 1818th It was about 1198 hectares and there were the places Blindmühl , Gilsenöd and Langenisarhofen. On May 1, 1978, it was fully incorporated into the municipality of Moos.
