Localization of Flevoland in the Netherlands

The Flevo shortwave station was located near Zeewolde and broadcast on shortwave for Radio Nederland Wereldomroep from 1985 to 2007 .

17 HRS directional antennas are available as antenna systems . The transmitter was taken over in 2011 by the Dutch Ministry of Defense as a replacement transmitter.

At the beginning of 2018, the Flevoland short-wave transmission system was demolished, as the antenna system was not suitable for future military use. Instead, a new building with much smaller antennas is planned.
